2015 – New Writing Festival – Chicken Chokers by Chris Upton

Chicken Chokers

By Chris Upton

“Is he being post- modern, ironic? All that shit!”

“Now you’re being childish. Who cares if it’s pretentious? A good meal,  a few glasses of wine and a lovely chat. You’re too precious. You always were.  It’s fun. It’s what people do”

November. The worst month of the year for Roman. It’s a time for another family reunion and that will no doubt entail the usual round of recrimination, tears, tea, torment and meat. Lots and lots of meat!

Chris Upton graduated from Yorkshire Coast College Scarborough in 2004 with an HND in Performing Arts and has been a professional actor ever since. This is his first play.
